What's the difference between buying a DVD-video and DVD-ROM?
Render Demo sells tutorials by various professional artists in DVD format. DVDs are further categorized as either DVD-Video or DVD-Rom. A DVD-video is like any "Hollywood" movie DVD and will play on a DVD-player connected to a TV set or on a computer. The movie dimensions for these lectures are either 640x480 or 853x480(widescreen) which is standard for all standard-definition DVDs. Some cropping may occur.
Our DVD-Rom discs are intended for play in computer DVD-Rom players ONLY and are compatible with both Mac and PC computers. Some television DVD-players may work but cropping may occur. We strongly recommend using your computer to view our DVD's. The lectures on these DVDs are QuickTime movies usually sized at 1024x768. The only SOFTWARE requirements for these DVDs are Apple QuickTime player and Adobe Acrobat (to read the associated PDF files).
Do you offer Academic or Discounted Pricing?
Qualified students, faculty and schools are eligible for a discount on all Render Demo Design Studio products. Educational orders can be placed either online or via mail-order. Fill out the order form and fax or email back to us with the appropriate paperwork. You will also find discount pricing information on bulk orders.
How are your products shipped?
Products are shipped via the United Parcel Service (UPS) 2nd Day Air and United States Postal Service (USPS) 5-10 day service. When ordering online, you have multiple shipping options to choose from. Orders are processed Monday-Friday and are usually shipped the next business day. For International 2nd day air orders, there occasionally is a delay due to some country customs regulations.
What about international orders?
All prices are listed in US Dollars. Your credit card company will automatically convert the amount of your order based on current exchange rates. If you want to know current exchange rates against US Dollars, visit the Universal Currency Converter. We can ship your package just about anywhere in the world. If you order on-line, confirmation of your shipment will be sent by e-mail. PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsible for any customs taxes or fees your country may have for importing these DVDs. We are also not responsible for any delays or lost items due to customs, and if customs returns your order to us we will charge you for the reshipment of your order. However, if a problem with customs occurs, we will do our best to help get your order released.
Do the DVDs work in all countries?
DVDs have region encoding which determines what countries they will work in. Render Demo Design Studio DVDs are region 0 encoded for playback in most DVD players. DVD's will work on all computer systems.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final and non-refundable. Please review your order carefully before submitting your final purchase. If any DVD product should be damaged in shipping or prove to be a defective copy, Render Demo Design Studio will replace it with a new one. This guarantee is valid up to 60 days after the date of purchase. Opened DVD products will only be exchanged with another copy of the same product. Digital Downloads are non-refundable. Once you purchase and download a digital file, you have a copy and therefore we cannot issue a refund. Sales of all DVDs and Digital Downloads are non-refundable.
Is my credit card number safe?
All credit card transactions made through Render Demo Design Studio are encrypted via our secure server, making it virtually impossible for your personal information and credit card number to be stolen during your purchase.
Is my information kept private?
Render Demo Design Studio never sells or shares any customer information with any other company. Your e-mail address is required to send order confirmation information, or to alert you if there were any problems with an order. Phone numbers are required for the purpose of completing Express Mail shipping forms and customs forms for international shipments.
Can I order over the phone?
Yes, Render Demo Design Studio does sell DVDs directly over the phone. You can make a phone order by leaving a detailed message at 443-860-9930. Visa, Discover, American express and Mastercard accepted.
Can I come to Render Demo's Design Studio to buy DVDs?
Unfortunately, No. All DVDs are only available online.
Can I order by mail?
Ordering by mail takes a little longer, but allows you to pay by money order:
1. If you have Microsoft Excel, download the Excel order form here. Fill it out except for the "office use only" areas and email it to us for confirmation. We will email it back and all you have to do is print it out and send it with your bank or money order. Using this form allows us to process your order faster.
2. If you don't have Excel, download the pdf here and print it out. Fill out the form and contact us if you have any questions such as bundle pricing etc. Mail in the completed form with your bank check or money order.
3. Enclose a bank check or money order in US Dollars for the amount due. Make checks payable to Render Demo Design Studio. Note: Do not send personal checks. In most countries, you can buy a money order right at the Post Office for an amount in US Dollars, or most banks will be able to issue a check in US Dollars for you.

Can I share my purchased tutorials or assets?
No. Our instructors work very hard to take time out of their production schedules to make these tutorials. Please adhere to our Terms and Conditions and understand that purchased items are for personal use only. We have tried to make Render Demo Design Studio a valuable and affordable resource to all, so your cooperation and support are necessary for this resource to grow. Instructors will only be able to justify the time and expense of producing tutorials if they feel that their compensation is fair. Piracy and illegal file-sharing is anything but fair to our instructors.
Can I pre-order a DVD?
Yes, but only if that DVD is available for Pre-Order. The Product page will display a Per-order button for you to click on. You must go through and complete the purchase process in full. Once the product becomes available, it will immediately ship to the address provided on the purchase order. Pre-Orders typically begin a few weeks before product is ready to launch. If you are purchasing using the educational discount. You will be reimbursed the difference after the product ships and we recieve your rebate coupon.
