Submissions Are Now Open!

Call For Entries - Render Demo is now calling on artists and designers to submit digital images for consideration in INSPIRATIONS. Images can be created in any medium including hand drawn 2D, digital illustration or 3D applications. Photoshop and digitally manipulated photography is also welcome. We are interested in high end renderings whether it be 2D or 3D, for commercial use, or personal satisfaction.

There is no cost or limit to enter work for inclusion in INSPIRATIONS. Artists with work published in INSPIRATIONS will receive a complimentary copy of the book and will enjoy worldwide exposure in the artistic and creative fields.

Render Demo is dedicated to representing artists in this publication and hopes to change the lives of these artists by launching careers and opening the gates to opportunities not available through traditional methods. We are focused on offering our artists an unprecedented publicity at no cost, while inspiring countless other artists at the same time.

The INSPIRATIONS committee will consists of highly talented group of industry leaders and artists. They will be basing their judging on creativity,

Fantasy, Product Design & Still Life, Athletic, Transportation, Science Fiction, Portrait, Landscape, and Creatures.

Render Demo INSPIRATIONS will be released worldwide in December 2010. Due to the rush of last minute entries, we ask that artists with existing works submit them as quickly as possible to avoid any technical difficulties or mail system failures. We look forward to seeing your work featured in INSPIRATIONS!

HOW TO SUBMIT WORK FOR CONSIDERATION.

How you submit your entry is very important. The judges are looking for creative highly rendered masterpieces. Entries that do not meet all the requirements below may not be eligible.

A. Include your Name (first and last), Address with Country, email and personal website URL (if available). This should be added in your email and not on the actual artwork image. DO NOT put any watermarks, company names, URL's or any other text on images you enter. All images will be fully credited with information you provide. It is acceptable to sign your image.

B. You must provide a brief description of your rendering limited to 250 words. Be as detailed as possible but quick to the point You must also name your artwork and submit the title of your masterpiece.

C. Indicate which tools you used in order to create your artwork. For example: Prisma colored pencils on Canson. OR. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchbook Pro. If applicable, indicate size of canvas or art board.

D. Images must be uncompressed RGB (.TIF) format. Do not include Alpha or other non-RGB Channels or layers. If you are scanning your artwork, please follow these guidelines when preparing your final submission.

E. Image size is very important. Image dimensions should be print resolution (as large as possible) Do not send low-resolution placeholder images since we will not be contacting you to resubmit. A guideline is approximately 2657 x 3636 pixels (either portrait or landscape). *DO NOT upsample your images to achieve higher resolution. If you cannot reach the desired full-page resolution, just submit what you have.

F: Each image must be included in a zip file. Only one image per zip file. (No other files should be in the zip file). Multiple entries must be sent or emailed in multiple, different zip files.

STEP 2: SEND IN YOUR WORK

Please do not mail original artwork as it will not be mailed back. The cost of shipping is the responsibility of the sender and you will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred to ship digital media.

Terms and Conditions

By entering images to us you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept the following terms and conditions.

I, The Entrant, here after referred to as 'Artist' or 'Designer', am submitting the image, image name to Render Demo Design Studio LLC of 5016 Taylor Lane, Ellicott CIty, Maryland, 21043, USA, here after referred to as 'Publisher', for consideration for inclusion in the print publication INSPIRATIONS. I have read and understood all of the following and I understand that by submitting the image and associated information that I agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

RIGHTS ASSIGNMENT AND WARRANTY
By entering images for consideration the artist warrants that they are the copyright holder, or they have obtained the rights sufficient for this purpose, and the artist assigns non-exclusive rights to the publisher for reproduction of submitted images in INSPIRATIONS and in sales, marketing and merchandising material associated with INSPIRATIONS at the publisher’s discretion. The artist warrants that all information supplied is current and true. Furthermore, the artist indemnifies the Publisher against any claims or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages from any party that may arise from publication of images submitted or associated information submitted with images.

LIMITATION OF RIGHTS
Other than the assignment of the necessary rights to publish selected images and information in INSPIRATIONS and associated sales, marketing and merchandising materials, the Publisher does not acquire, nor assume responsibility for, any other rights.

NON RETURN
The Publisher will not return any material submitted. At the written request of the submitting artist the Publisher will destroy copies of submitted material and any backups or reproductions the Publisher may be aware of. All material submitted, both published and unpublished, shall be held by the Publisher for the purpose of reprints and other sales and marketing purposes relating to INSPIRATIONS for as long as the Publisher deems necessary.

NON AGREEMENT
There is no agreement or contract between the artist and the Publisher. The artist assumes all responsibility and costs for delivering images and other required information to the Publisher for consideration and potential publication in INSPIRATIONS. The Publisher does not require any payment for entry of images nor does the Publisher offer any form of payment, actual or implied, to the successful entrants for publication of their images.

PUBLISHERS SOLE DISCRETION
Selection of images for publication in INSPIRATIONS is at the sole discretion of the Publisher. The Publisher may or may not seek input from individuals (who may or may not also be artists with entries for consideration for publication in INSPIRATIONS) appointed to the Advisory Board for INSPIRATIONS. The Publisher also reserves sole discretion in the selection of the portion of images and in manipulations deemed beneficial to reproduction of supplied images.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The publisher will take reasonable measures to ensure the security of images and information supplied to them. In no event shall the Publisher be liable to any party, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the loss of images and data supplied, even if the Publisher has been advised of the possibility of such loss and damages.

This list of terms and conditions constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of the terms and conditions and supersedes any prior terms and conditions, oral or written, and any other communications relating to these terms and conditions.
